ToHG Women’s Prison Library Fundraiser.
As a volunteer within the Indiana Dept of Corrections for the past 12 years, Tamrha Richardson (HPs within ToHG-IN and an ordained Priestess of Hekate) has worked hard to help build a small "library" of books on magic, myth and witchcraft at Rockville Correctional Facility. Between book drives and kind donations from the community, the ladies in this facility have a small library of about 60 books and a few magazines.
Through 2024, Tamrha created another library at Indiana Women’s Prison for the Pagan group there and has donated books to other locations such as the Plainfield Correctional Facility for men.
The publishing of this genre of books today is at a peak with so many titles and areas of focus that simply weren't around when she began her journey over 20 years ago.
This fundraiser's goal is to build a library for more facilities in the state of Indiana. A portion of any donated funds would also go to approved binders or notebooks for the offenders to create their own Books of Shadows, or magical journals and to document their individual practices.
Purchases made through this fundraiser will be posted on the Pagan Prison Library Project Facebook page for transparency. Any questions can be directed to our contact page.
